Soda Nanos

The hole in the wall, Soda Nanos, is where you see all the men in the morning having breakfast. It is a small soda on First Street, right past Grupo Materials. Early in the morning, it is full of people having a traditional Costa Rican Breakfast. The food is wonderful, and the price makes you smile

The working man’s soda

Every time I go into Puerto Jiménez, I drive by Nanos Cafe. It always has trucks and cars parked in front. I ask my friend, a truck driver, I always see your truck parked at Nanos Cafe. It is the cheapest and best gallo Pinto in Puerto Jimenez, he said. So there you have it for the local working man; that is their soda they go to. The owner and cook are super nice. I asked them to send me photos of their food, which they did.
