As the name implies, the Osa beach house is only steps away from the sweet gulf, or in Spanish, Golfo Dulce. The manager, Maria, has made the beach house one of the best vacation rentals in Puerto Jiménez. What captured me about the beach house is the landscaped lawn, and the paint scheme is tropical pastel colors. It has a wonderful Caribbean feel to it.
What is new this year.
A new swimming pool. And the Beach pad . A one-bedroom, fully furnished apartment.swimming
The Balcony’s
. The mornings are relaxed. As you make your first rich cup of Costa Rican coffee. You step outside onto one of the wrap-around balconies, sit in a chair, and watch the world wake up; the sky is showing off its magical colors as the sun greets another day. A pair of scarlet macaws fly by, making their squawking sounds. You decide to walk down to the beach.
The Beach
It only takes you two minutes to get to the beach. It is high tide. You stick your toes into the water. The water is warm , as you sip your coffee. The Golfo Dulce, or the sweet gulf, is flat and calm. Out of the corner of your eye, you see something pop up from the water. You look in that direction, and a sea turtle lifts its head to take a look at you. You smile.
The kitchen
Realizing that you have not eaten since late last night. You walk back to the beach house. You walk up the stairs to the fully modern kitchen, and you notice that all the floors are made of wood polished to a beautiful shine. Maria, as you requested, has stocked the kitchen with your favorite foods. You open the fridge, and there is the bacon. You put the Bacon in a frying pan and put it on the 6-burner stove.
Another pot of coffee is in order as the smell of bacon goes through the house. Everyone in your family starts waking up. They all stagger in a sleepy walk toward the smell of the kitchen. On the counter is a bowl of fresh fruit. Everyone dives into the fresh local banana. Smells good in here, your wife says as she sips a cup of coffee.
That was one of the best nights’ sleep I have had in a long time. The beds are so comfortable, your wife says. There is a note on the counter. It reads. Good morning. Your dolphin tour is at 8.30 am at the municipality dock. Enjoy your tour. Maria.
Ok thatis is it. I’m not leaving, your wife says. Your reply is I know, right!

There is Wi-Fi throughout the house, and downstairs are a washing machine and dryer
Accommodations
The Osa Beach house does not lack accommodations. There are 4 bedrooms, all with air conditioning and hot water in the shower. Also, there is a loft that sleeps 4 people. The Beach house is great for large families or a group of your best friends. They have also added The Beach Pad, a one-bedroom apartment.

Activities
Activities at the beach house include an outdoor grill, paddle boards, kayaks, boogie boards, fishing gear, lounge chairs, and coolers for free.
Maria can arrange all your tours, from visiting Corcovado park , horseback riding tours. Dolphin tours, offshore and inshore fishing tours, chocolate tours and kayak tours. Maria has been part of the local community for over 15 years, and I have known Maria for 10 yrs. I highly recommend the beach house.
Osa Beach House is a great place to relax
You have worked hard all year, and the only thing you want to do is relax, slow down, take naps, and read a great book in the hammock. To raid the fridge at midnight, watching the moon on the balcony, inhaling the southern winds and the salt air you can feel on your face. Knowing that you can sleep in the morning that my friends is the start to your Pura Vida. Enjoy your stay at the Osa beach house, an oasis unto itself.
The Grounds
The grounds surrounding the Osa beach house, in one word, Tropical. The lawn is kept immaculate; the grass is the kind you can sink your toes into. Surrounding the property are all local plants and trees, including flowers. Do not be surprised if you see Scarlet Macaws, which are common at the beach house. Also look for the stone faces carved from sandstone.
