The clinic is located right past the soccer field on Main Street. Walk past the post office and the Pizza Mall, and across the street to the right is the clinic. They can provide you with basic medical help.
Open 24 hours for emergency
The Clinic is open 24 hours for emergencies. Dial 911, and the police will come, along with an ambulance. Please try not to get hurt; it will ruin your visit.
Bring a first aid kit
Bringing a first aid kit is a very smart move. In the humid air and jungles, getting hurt is not good. It is easy for a simple cut to get infected.
The hospital is across the bay.
If it is something serious, you will have to go to the hospital in Golfito on the ferry. You will get to Golfito by a Red Cross boat. It is an ordeal. Or they might put you in an ambulance to take you to San jose.
The bug in the ear
I had one friend come down, and they thought that they had a bug in their ear. We went to the clinic. They made us go online to fill out some forms. After that, we waited for an hr before we saw the doctor. The doctor looked in the ear, no bug! The doctor wrote up a prescription for their ear. Total cost, Nothing
Please be very careful and try not to get hurt, you might end up going to the hospital in Golfito or all the way to San Jose.
