From the soccer field walk down Main Street and take a right at the first intersection. Halfway down the block on your left is the quaint and inviting Soda El Localito. In front of the soda is a big almond tree that provides lots of shade. They serve typical local food, from gallo pinto to casados. Casados are the daily special. The food is excellent, with generous portions. Ask for their fresh juices and homemade chili beans.
This soda was formerly called Johana’s. With the new owners, mama is in the kitchen, and boy, can she cook. The food is great. Their beans are the best I have eaten.
